This idea has been on the drawing board for a bit and finally got around to putting the finishing touches on it. Not sure if having 48-across in the puzzle makes me a corporate shill but we are taking that risk. I once met someone at a party in college whose name was 8-down and I said "Oh like A Streetcar Named Desire" and she looked at me like I had 6 eyes, so I said "I mean like the beer" and she said "yep." Clearly this moment stuck with me as it's not been about 20 years since that happened and I felt compelled to share the anecdote here. Good times.
